Rookie QB Deshaun Watson continues to dazzle, but the Houston defense simply had no answers for the Chiefs.
The Texans led the league in total defense last season even without J.J. Watt, but now that defense is in disarray and is without Watt again. Watt pushed his body to the brink for so long while becoming a three-time NFL defensive player of the year. But that approach clearly took its toll, and now it is fair to wonder if Watt’s days of playing at that level are done.

The Bears got their first win with Mitchell Trubisky at QB in his second NFL start. They did it by not relying on him too heavily to be the focal point of the offense. That’s always a useful approach while a rookie QB learns on the job. But it won’t be possible every week for these Bears.
First-year 49ers Coach Kyle Shanahan kept his team’s minuscule playoff hopes Best Place For Cheap Jerseys alive and got his first win as a head coach, beating the hapless Giants, 31-21. C.J. Beathard again got the start, keeping Jimmy Garoppolo sidelined for at least another two weeks as San Francisco heads into its bye. Beathard wasn’t bad either Sunday, completing 19 of 25 for 288 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. But was it enough to stave off the Garoppolo era?
