It’s fair to wonder about Swinney’s why.

This is an outrageous thing to say when your son is a struggling rookie who nonetheless gets plenty of minutes under said coach. Most mad NBA dads have sons strapped to the bench. Ball is just blowing up Walton for sport.

And none of it mattered on Friday as the Lakers’ issues looked like it continued to fester. The LA Clippers opened the game with a 22-5 run before handing the Lakers a fifth straight loss, 121-106, at Staples Center.
