When Davon House missed his flight from Minneapolis to Green Bay the night before workouts, he needed a backup plan — and fast.
Packers fans to the rescue.
The Packers cornerback landed at the Minneapolis airport around 11 p.m. CT Monday but was faced with the challenge of getting to Green Bay for the start of OTAs Tuesday morning after missing his connecting flight. Stranded and desperate, he took to Twitter to ask for help.
Both players provided their side of the story, but now we have even more insight into the incident. Speaking to NFL Films for NFL Network’s Top 100 list, Broncos safety T.J. Ward went a little more in depth into Talib’s reasoning. Ward sides with his teammate and explained why Crabtree’s gold chain was a no-no.
“I mean we feel like, or he feel like — well I don’t know. It was just a sign kind of disrespect. We out here playing the ultimate game. It’s a tough game, going to war and you out here with your chains on like it’s all good, nothing’s going to happen, you don’t got to get dirty. You know, nah. You know Aqib, of course is going to take action. And that’s what he did.”
Ward added he wouldn’t want to wear a chain during a game, “But Hockey Jerseys Cheap if I did, ain’t nobody taking my chain, I’ll tell you that. Break my chain, I’ll break your ass.”
As for Crabtree, he didn’t let the incident bother him as he got the chain fixed and came back the next week with it still on. He might want to think twice about wearing it against Kids Cheap Jerseys the Broncos next season, or he could end up having to repair it again.
