Oklahoma RB Joe Mixon says ‘I made a bad decision’ to punch woman
Former Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon is doing his best to convince NFL talent evaluators he’s worthy of selection in April.
Speaking Monday on Pro Football Talk, Mixon talked about viciously punching a female student in 2014 for which he was charged with misdemeanor assault.
“I made a bad decision,” Mixon told PFT Live. “Ever since that night, I have to live with it. I’ve got to relive it every day. You can never forget something like that. It still haunts me to this day, but it’s what you do from that point on. You can’t take it back. I can replay it in my head a thousand times, and if I could take it back I would, but I can’t.”
The Patriots finally got their first takeaway of the game when Devonta Freeman’s blown blocking assignment allowed D’onta Hightower to rush off the edge virtually untouched. The Pats linebacker sacked Matt Ryan and forced a fumble, which was recovered by Alan Branch at the Falcons’ 25-yard line.
Amelia Molitor, the woman Mixon punched, reportedly suffered fractures in her jaw, cheekbone and other bones in her face.
Rich Gannon may have the Super Bowl record for most interceptions, but Cheap NBA Basketball Jerseys Collins was worse overall two years earlier, albeit against an all-time great defense in the 2000 Ravens.
Collins not only tied what was then a record four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), he accounted for just 28 total yards in the second half. He became the third quarterback to fail to lead his team to an offensive score in the Super Bowl, after Bill Kilmer in Super Bowl 7 and Cheap Mls Jerseys Fran Tarkenton in Super Bowl 9.
